My husband, Chris, and I have just gone through an adoption where we gave our daughter to a loving couple that cannot have
kids of their own. A lot of people questioned our decision but we have been thinking about this since the day I became pregnant.
We feel very confident in our decision, and we know that she is going to be loved for her whole life. Both on our end, and
on the adoptive families end.
The labor itself took about 2 hours, but I only pushed for roughly 7 minutes. Sarah, Scott, my mom, my loving husband, Clara
(the midwife), and Arcy (the nurse that is ALWAYS at my births) were all there. My mother and Sarah were both crying and holding
each other when Parker finally made her way into this world. It was so touching that I had to look away or else I would start
crying.

My mom with the adoptive father, Scott. He looks like he's going to be a great daddy dosen't he?

Awwww Parker is eating. One of her first bottles, you can tell she loves it.
